Do you want or need some compost?  Did you know that an excellent compost is made on Glasgow's doorstep, from your green waste?  It can also be delivered in bulk to your allotment site?  It's enviromentally friendly, sustainable, used by landscape gardeners, plant nurseries, turf growers, and the foresty commision!  Find out more about the visit to Deerdykes on the POD compost page.

Would you also like a website for your allotment?

Then please fill in the following form to contact the web master, whom will get back to you regarding the details.

Glasgow Allotments Forum was set up to represent allotment sites and plotholders throughout the Glasgow City area.
To do this we:
  • Hold regular open meetings where plotholders and site representatives can discuss issues of mutual interest
  • Participate in events where we can disseminate information about allotments
  • Lobby the council on behalf of sites and plotholders

Use this site to talk to other allotment gardeners !

The Calendar page tells you about events and meetings, the Documents page links to information to keep in touch with allotment developments and to help you to manage your own events.
There are Hints and Tips to give you ideas for how and when to grow stuff.

GAF Talks

We have more GAF Talks in 2011 so make sure you have a look and see if there's anything of interest to you in 2011.  Even better pass on the details to fellow plot holders, and come as a group.
